As a sub-canopy plant, monsteras are tolerant of lower light conditions, but will grow more quickly and evenly in bright indirect light. High Light: The fiddle leaf needs lots of bright, indirect sunlight with a couple of hours of direct sunlight. 

 Watering: Water thoroughly every 1-2 weeks or when top 2" of soil is dry. Mist the leaves and top soil every other day.
